Artist Bio
Bridget Cruickshank was born in Burbank California but has spent most of her life in Alaska. She has always had a love for the arts and has experimented in many areas of art from wheel throwing ceramics to painting. She now focuses on her love of photography. She has a passion for capturing beautiful Alaskan landscapes and now is building her skills in the studio working with techniques using double exposure and flash and blur. Bridget enjoys working with her models and working in a collaboration with them to capture stunning photos that her models love. Bridget graduated with a Batchelor degree in 2025 with a major in Arts and a minor in Psychology with a concentration on photography from UAA. She has worked the last two and half years studying photography through the University of Anchorage Alaska (UAA) with Professor Mike Conti. Her photographs have been showcased in two exhibitions: “Through Our Eyes” UAA Camera Club exhibition at the Arc Gallery, at UAA and “Human/Nature” at Midnight Sun Café in 2024. She plans to have photography in her life and enjoy taking photos and creating opportunities for others to enjoy her photographs.
